SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - People planning on flying in or out of San Francisco International Airport are being urged to check with the airlines on the status of their flights as the second storm of the weekend causes more delays.
Airport duty manager Shannon Wilson says because of low cloud ceilings and reduced visibility caused by the storm, departing flights are being delayed by about 45 minutes, while arrivals are being delayed about 20 minutes.
The delays are expected to last until about 11 p.m. Sunday.
Wilson said by 10:30 am. Sunday that 11 departing flights and 17 arriving flights had been canceled because of the weather
