SACRAMENTO, CA - A former instructional aide at a south Sacramento high school was arrested for alleged inappropriate contact with students.
Jeremiah Ellington, 27, was arrested in connection to misdemeanor charges of child annoyance and use of an electronic device with the intent to annoy, Sacramento County sheriff's Deputy Jason Ramos said.
Ellington worked at Bradshaw Christian School. The sheriff's department began their investigation into Ellington on June 4 after allegations reported that he maintained "inappropriate communication" with students.
Ramos said Ellington was arrested at a home in Sacramento County and then booked into jail. His bail is set at $10,000.
