ELK GROVE, CA - Four buildings were destroyed in a grass fire Wednesday evening.
The fire burned 10 acres at 7801 Sloughouse Road, destroying two barns and two bunk houses, Sacramento Metro Fire Assist. Chief Walt White said.

Fortunately, the primary home was saved from the fire.
The fire started in a barn during a wood cutting operation, White said.
Around 6 p.m., crews were doing water drops on the property. White said the fire was in the "mop up stage" and was under control by crews.
