GREAT HANG UP - A bill to increase fines for texting while driving, and to fine cyclists who text and ride has passed the State Senate and is now in the assembly.
A YouTube video also pokes fun at texting and cycling. We wanted an avid cyclist's perspective and watched their ride via a Go Pro "helmet cam."
May is Bike Month and on Thursday May 17, several power stations, including the following, will be offering free breakfast to cyclists, according to the Sacramento TMA:
- Power Balance Pavilion in Natomas off Truxel from 5 a.m. - 9 a.m.
- ions Gate on Westover near McCellan.
