SACRAMENTO - Up to 20,000 people are expected to show up Saturday at Cal Expo for Convoy of Hope. This is the second year for the humanitarian effort, aimed at helping people in need.
Hundreds of businesses and churches are providing food and other donations to people in need. Families will also be able to get groceries, family portraits, health and dental screenings, and even haircuts.
Last year about 15,000 showed up for help.
The Convoy of Hope event runs on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Cal Expo, located at 1600 Exposition.
Volunteers are always welcomed.
