Great Hang Up- Rewards for doing well. That's the idea behind a new cell phone app that provides added incentive for drivers who hang up.
A Florida volleyball coach, Alexa Napoleon, came up with the idea.
"I was driving to school and my phone was just going crazy with text messages and emails all at one time," she said. So she partnered with her Dad to create the cell phone app called protextus.
Users receive points for every mile they drive while using protextus. At the end of the month, those points are added up and can be redeemed for prizes.
The safety conscious creator is still shopping for more sponsors and companies to advertise and offer more redeemable rewards for users.
