Parents rally for New Frontier school
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA - Dozens of parents wore red t-shirts with the Creative Frontiers logo showing support for their principal who's under investigation for child molestation.
Parents have sent a petition to the city with 200 signatures, asking the school be reopened.
"We love our school, and Mr. Bob is a great educator," parent Ray Amenston said.
Last week, authorities shut down Creative Frontiers school, which principal Robert Adams had operated for 30 years. Adams is being investigated for allegedly molesting kids at the school.
"I've been in and out of the school at all hours, I've never seen anything suspicious or strange, we want our school re-opened," parent John Deda said.
Parents made their pleas to Citrus Heights City Council members, who listened to several speakers.
Principal Adams has not been charged with any crime. Police said their investigation continues.
