| Special teachers can and do make a difference every day in the lives of children and families. To salute those who devote themselves to the teaching profession, News10 and CSU Sacramento have joined forces to do a monthly profile of an exemplary educator. Watch News10 at 5:00 on the second Friday of each month to meet the current Teacher of the Month. Each report will profile a successful teacher and reveal what motivates them to help children. |

News10, in conjunction with CSU Sacramento and the Esquire IMAX Theatre, currently highlights teachers in our area that are making a difference through a program called "The News 10 Teacher of the Month." Each month, an outstanding teacher is showcased on News 10 as someone who educates, shines, and inspires. If you know of an exceptional teacher, we invite you to submit a nomination. The instructions for submitting a nomination are as follows:
A. Educational Philosophy
Submit a summary as to why you think this teacher has the qualifications to be a "News 10 Teacher of the Month" nominee. The contents should express the reasons why the teacher does an outstanding job. Evidence of interaction with children is encouraged.
B. Eligibility
Teacher of the Month nominations are limited to K-12 educators in the following counties: Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sierra, Solano, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba. |
