ROSEVILLE, CA - Less than 10 hours after a man robbed a Wells Fargo Bank, Roseville police arrested a suspect with the help of a police K-9 that picked up the man's scent.

The robbery took place Wednesday around 9:45 a.m. at the branch on Harding Boulevard in Roseville.

"Our K-9 unit tracked the suspect to one of the local motels on Harding Boulevard," said Lt. Michael Doane.

Doane said, "good detective work at the crime scene and motel" led to identifying the suspect, Edward Sciosciole, 48.

At 7 p.m., detectives found Sciosciole at a residence in the 200 block of Taylor Street in Roseville. He faces charges of robbery and a parole violation, according to police.
