Reno may conjure up images of rodeos, cowboys and the loud ringing and lights of the casinos, however there are activities for those who enjoy a bit more culture like a performance from the Reno Philharmonic Association.
The Reno Philharmonic Association is the largest performing arts organization in the region. Lead by music director Laura Jackson, the Reno Philharmonic Association presents more than 25 concerts throughout the year. Host Mellisa Paul spoke with marketing director Tracy Tootell and Amy Heald the Reno Philharmonic Association's education director about the various music activities, performances and workshops available to youth and anyone who loves classical music.
