With skyrocketing prices on food and produce, and many struggling to make ends meat, families in the United States often go hungry. Kids suffer the most, and only get a meal or two when they're in school or through after school programs. There are independent programs to feed children when school is out, but they need funding.
Gretchen Schueller is a mom, and was inspired to make a difference in the lives of hungry children. Having been in the jewelry making business for nearly 30 years, she was inspired by another artist to make 500 Necklaces for Hungry Children. All materials were donated and herself along with some crafty volunteers have been able to reach their goal and they're ready to sell! See some of the beautiful craftsmanship, and learn where to purchase a one-of-a-kind necklace soon!
