SACRAMENTO - A Roseville teen who had been stabbed and died at an area hospital Tuesday afternoon was identified by Citrus Heights police.
Wade Isaiah Shingu, 18, was driven by friends to the 7500 block of Auburn Boulevard where medical responders had come to his aid about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Det. Chad Morris, Shingu was involved in an altercation with the friends at a residence near Auburn Boulevard and Old Auburn Boulevard about five minutes earlier. He was put in a car by his friends and driven to where paramedics found him.
Morris could not confirm if Shingu was a current student at Oakmont High School or had graduated from the Roseville high school.
Morris said the friends were cooperating with detectives. There have been no arrests.
