ROSEVILLE, CA - Roseville police say an argument between two roommates resulted in a fatal shooting Monday.
Police spokesperson Dee Dee Gunther said Roseville police received a call regarding a man inside of a home on the 100 block of Hickory St. with a gun at 3:15 p.m. The initial report was quickly followed by several calls reporting sounds of shots fired.
Gunther said responding officers found 54-year-old Kevin William Spindler dead in the front yard, apparently shot by his 48-year-old roommate Joseph Arthur Nunn.
According to the initial investigation, the men were arguing when Spindler was shot with a semi-automatic handgun. Spindler then stumbled out to the front yard and collapsed, said Gunther.
Nunn was arrested at the scene without incident and held without bail on suspicion of murder.
