STOCKTON, CA - Guy Hatch isn't making excuses for his decision to pose for photos that showed him pretending to grab crotches of other men.
"It was self-inflicted and stupid, I shouldn't have done it," Hatch said. "I should have known better, but I make mistakes. I'm not a perfect person."
After the photos were brought to the attention of the public, Hatch stepped down as chair of the Boys and Girls Club of Stockton Wednesday.

"I don't want to taint the boys and girls club in Stockton, or surrounding areas anymore," Hatch explained. "I'm taking myself out of the picture."
Last May, Hatch was photographed at a crowded Stockton bar. Many of the photos are innocent poses, but several show him pretending to touch other men sexually.
"Me and friends were just clowning around. It was staged, a joke," Hatch said.
Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva is CEO of the club and said Hatch is a victim of politics because of his connections to the mayor. Hatch agreed.
"It's (the club) been politicized because of who he is," Hatch said.
Hatch will step down as Chairman of the Board, but would stay on as a board member if allowed. Silva has said he'll step away from the club Oct. 1 to focus on his job as mayor.
Hatch is also reported to be under investigation for a plot to hack into the computers of Stockton city leaders. He said he hasn't been contacted by police on that matter and called the story of his involvement "false."
