STOCKTON, CA - Stockton police need the public's help to find an at-risk mother and daughter, who have been missing since last Saturday; police issued a "missing alert" for the two on Thursday morning.
Ebony Jackson, 26, and Hope Jackson, 9, left their home in north Stockton on Saturday, Sept. 7, sometime after 11 p.m., Officer P. Enebrad said. Relatives reported the woman and girl may have been seen near the bus stop near Lower Sacramento Road and Hammer Lane on Monday, Sept. 9.
When last seen, Ebony Jackson was wearing SpongeBob pajamas and carried a SpongeBob purse. Her daughter had on a pink and white t-shirt and gray shorts.
The mother was described as mentally challenged and with a speech impairment that makes it difficult to understand her. She also has medical conditions. She is black, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. Her hair is black and she has brown eyes.
Hope was described as black, 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 108 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
