SACRAMENTO, CA - The surviving suspect in an officer-involved shooting last year that culminated with her boyfriend fatally shot by police after he shot a police K9, was found guilty of attempted murder in a Sacramento courtroom on Wednesday.
STORY: Suspect fatally shot, police K9 wounded in Land Park
On May 18, 2112, Sacramento police attempted to pull over a Toyota Camry reported stolen. The couple inside, Leslie McCulley and Lucas Webb, resisted and led officers on a short chase, eventually abandoning the car in Land Park and fleeing on foot. Pursuing officers said Webb turned and shot K9 Bodie twice. Bodie's human partner then fired on Webb, who died at the scene.
Bodie underwent several surgeries and rehabilitation before retiring from the Sacramento Police Department earlier this year.

McCulley was also convicted of possession of a loaded firearm by a felon, receiving stolen property (the vehicle), and evasion of police by driving in a reckless manner.
