STOCKTON, Calif. - A 24-year-old man on the U.S. Marshall's top 10 Most Wanted list was apprehended in Stockton Tuesday afternoon.
In a message posted on their Facebook page, the Stockton Police Dept. stated the U.S. Marshall's task force requested their assistance in making a traffic stop of Anthony Moore on Hammer Ln. and Maranatha Dr. at 3:26 p.m.
Moore, a documented gang member, was wanted on charges of armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, said police.
Community Response Team officers arrived and attempted to make the stop but Moore refused to pull over, leading officers on a pursuit before stopping in front of his home near the 5100 block of N. State Route 99. He was then taken into custody without incident, police said.
An ensuing search of Moore's vehicle uncovered a loaded pistol and a 2-year-old child sleeping in the back seat.
Moore was arrested on the aforementioned charges of armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, as well as additional pursuit, weapons and child endangerment charges.
