SACRAMENTO, CA - A teenage boy was shot and injured in a south Sacramento park Tuesday afternoon.
Police officers responded to Pollock Ranch Park on the 3800 block of Robinridge Way around 3:45 p.m. after getting reports of a shooting.
Police said a boy in his late teens was critically injured in the shooting and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Homicide and Gang detectives responded to the scene to investigate the scene.
The motive behind the shooting is unclear at this time.
