CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA - A man was arrested late Friday night in connection to the shooting death of his son, Citrus Heights police said.
Peter Rexius, 62, was arrested at his home on the 7600 block of Kensington Drive around 8:30 p.m. after police found his 27-year-old son Daniel Rexius dead because of a gunshot wound, Lt. Alex Turcotte said. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office released the identification of the son Saturday afternoon.

Officers were called to the home after getting a report of a family argument and the sound of a gunshot.
Turcotte said Peter Rexius remained at the scene after the shooting was reported to police and as officers arrived at the scene. He turned himself over police without incident.
Peter Rexius was booked into Sacramento County Jail for murder. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
Investigators continue to look into what led up to the argument between father and son and the shooting, Turcotte said.
