String of 'door-kick' burglaries reported in Rocklin, so. Placer Co.

PLACER COUNTY, CA - Law enforcement reports a number of "door-kick-in" burglaries and similar attempted burglaries in the last 30 days.

Rocklin police say one of the crimes was committed while residents were at home.

In Rocklin, there have been two such break-ins and two attempts. Three of the four were along the Sierra College Boulevard corridor and one in the Clover Valley Road/Rawhide Road area.

All were committed at night and the Placer County Sheriff's Office says it has received recent similar reports in the south part of the county.

  • Fortify your front door with a deadbolt containing a 1-inch throw secured with a minimum 3-inch screws. 
  • Don't broadcast your absence on social media
