SACRAMENTO, CA - The Sacramento Police Department is looking into what happened to a man whose body was discovered snagged on a tree along the Sacramento River late Tuesday afternoon.
The Sacramento Fire Department was first called to the area of 35th Avenue where it comes up to the river in south Sacramento just after 5 p.m.
Police officers also responding described the man as Asian and in his 60s. He was fully clothed. There was no initial sign of foul play.
Police were seeking to identify the man as well as determine how he died.
