Man found shot to death on Sacramento street

SACRAMENTO - A man was found shot to death in the north Oak Park area of Sacramento Friday morning.

According to Sacramento police Officer Michele Gigante, officers were called to the area of 35th Street and 26th Avenue at 4:06 a.m.  following reports of gunshots fired.

Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive man, later identified as Dalando D. Barconey, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Sacramento firefighters were called to the scene and declared the Barconey dead.

Homicide and Crime Scene Investigators were then called to assist with the investigation.

No information was provided on possible suspects or a motive in the shooting, but a dark sedan, possibly involved, was seen in the area around the time of the shooting, said Gigante.
