SACRAMENTO, CA - A mother accused of endangering her two children was arrested Friday night in North Sacramento.
Lorraine Cwalina, 32, was arrested on the 4200 block of Norwood Avenue around 10:45 p.m. after police received multiple calls about a woman in the middle of the street, Sacramento police said.
Callers said Cwalina had two children with her in the street and was causing a disturbance. When officers arrived at the scene, they found that the children were unharmed and arrested Cwalina without incident.
The two 4-year-old children were taken into protective custody.
Cwalina was booked into Sacramento County Jail for child endangerment, police said.
