CARMICHAEL, Calif. - A suspected car thief was apprehended following a vehicle and foot pursuit through Carmichael Thursday.
A CHP spokesperson said officers attempted to stop a driver suspected of driving a stolen Honda Accord around 9:50 a.m. and a pursuit ensued.
The fleeing man drove into a cul-de-sac on the 2700 block of Julie Ann Court where he bailed out of the car and fled on foot, officers said.
The man's female passenger remained in the car where she was detained by officers.
The man was apprehended shortly afterward.
