AUBURN, CA - Maybe a robber's distinctive outerwear will help someone recognize him and report that to police.
A convenience store at Auburn Ravine Road and Mikkelson Drive was robbed at gunpoint Saturday, said police Sgt. V. Pecoraro. No store employees were hurt.
The robber was described as a man, white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a blue and gray knit poncho, black athletic pants, black and red gloves, and a dark-colored face mask.
The Auburn Police Department asked anyone with information as to the identity of the person shown to contact its Investigations Division at (530) 823-4237, ext. 207.
