This individual was captured on a Salida home security camera system burglarizing the home, according to the Stanislaus County sheriff.

SALIDA, CA - The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department has posted a video on its Facebook page of a recent home burglary.  Detectives need help identifying the man who stole jewelry, electronics and a safe so heavy it had to be dragged down the stairs.

"It's a great picture and we're hoping with your help, and the community's help, we can identify the suspect in this case," said Sheriff Adam Christianson.

The burglary happened about 10 days ago while Maria Godina was out of the house taking her son to school.  She was shocked when she got home about an hour later.

"The door was wide open.  You know someone broke in and you don't know what's going on in there," said Godina.

She and her husband have an alarm and camera system installed because they were also burglarized in November.  This time the burglar was caught on camera.

"He got all my jewelry and he took the safe.  The saddest part is we have videos of the kids, pictures, everything [in the safe].  You can't replace that," said Godina.
