GREAT HANG UP: Does a ban on walking and texting take it too far?
Nevada is considering a ban on texting while walking that would include a warning for a first offense, and fines starting at $100 for repeat offenders.
Utah, Illinois, Arkansas an New York have also looked at similar legislation. Injury Prevention says a third of pedestrians studied walk and talk and it can be dangerous in terms of reaction time and cross walk attention.
