Kindra Card was booked into San Joaquin County Jail for kidnapping and burglary
STOCKTON, CA - A woman was arrested in connection to kidnapping a little girl while she was asleep in her south Stockton home.
Kindra Card, 29, was taken into custody after the 3-year-old girl's father confronted Card and rescued his daughter, Stockton police said.
Card allegedly entered the family's home on the 1600 block of Anderson Street around 8:42 a.m. through a door that was ajar. Police said Card then grabbed the little girl from her bedroom while her parents slept in their bedroom and then took her to a vehicle parked in front of the home.
The girl's father ran outside, confronted Card and took his daughter from Card's hands without incident, police said.
Card was booked into San Joaquin County Jail for kidnapping and burglary.
