SACRAMENTO - A woman who was reported missing Tuesday was hit by a Light Rail train Wednesday evening.
Alice Alspektor, 66, was last seen on the 3900 block of Edison Ave. around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. She is considered at risk due to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and dementia, said sheriff's spokesman Jason Ramos.

A witness said Alspektor seemed oblivious to the train, even as the driver honked his horn and hit his brakes even harder.
Alspektor was rushed to UC Davis Medical Center where she is in critical condition according to firefighters.
