ROSEVILLE, Calif. - Four people were arrested and one remains at-large in an early morning pursuit of a U-haul truck allegedly used in a burglary at a landscaping supply store.
According to Citrus Heights police officers, the pursuit was initiated around 5 a.m. on Wednesday on Interstate 80 when California Highway Patrol officers attempted to pull over the truck.
The fleeing truck exited on Auburn Blvd. drove through a Kmart parking lot, and then plowed through the gates of the Sierra Glenn Apartments in Roseville where at least one man fled on foot, said police.
Additional units from assisting police departments, including a K9 officer, were called to the apartments to search for outstanding suspect or suspects.
The four arrested individuals were apprehended at various points in the pursuit, said police.
A fifth individual was detained later in the morning, but police later cleared the man of being involved in the burglary, said Lt. Doug Fletcher of the Citrus Heights Police Dept.
