FAIRIFIELD, Calif. - A 3.1 magnitude earthquake hit Fairfield Friday morning according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake was reported at 9:38 a.m.

The epicenter was a mile southwest of central Fairfield, according to the USGS.

No damage was reported.
