SACRAMENTO, CA - Deputies need help identifying three men in connection to a south Sacramento shooting in early December.

Sacramento County sheriff's deputies responded to the parking lot of ShopSmart on the 7600 block of Stockton Boulevard on Dec. 10 to reports of gunshots, Sgt. Jason Ramos said. At the scene, they found a vehicle that was hit by multiple gunshots.

Ramos said an 11-month-old girl in the back seat was nearly hit by the gunshots; she suffered minor injuries from glass that was shattered from the car windows during the shooting.

Investigators found that the three suspects were shopping in the plaza when they got into a brief fight with the men of the vehicle that was shot up. The fight escalated when one of the suspects took out a handgun and fired nearly a dozen shots at the vehicle, barely missing several people, and then fled the scene.

Ramos said the suspects are described as two Hispanic men and one Hispanic or Asian man in their early to mid-20s, ranging between 5'6" to 5'10" tall, and weighing between 150 to 190 pounds. The suspect vehicle is described as a gold Dodge or Chrysler mini-van.

Surveillance video from the ShopSmart captured the three suspects on camera.

Anyone with information the suspects identity and whereabouts is urged to call the sheriff's department at (916) 874-5115. Tips may also be left at www.sacsheriff.com, by texting to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering the keyword SSD, or at (916) 874-TIPS (8477).
