AUBURN, Calif. - A woman was arrested twice for driving drunk within a 22-hour period on Friday.
Jessica Bernardo was arrested early Friday morning and then again late Friday night by police for an alleged DUI, Auburn police said.
Around 1:07 a.m., Bernardo was parked in a handicap spot on the 100 block of Harrison Avenue when she was confronted by a police officer. The officer suspected Bernardo was drunk and arrested her.
Then, around 11:40 p.m., an officer saw Bernardo make a moving violation near High Street and Lincoln Way and pulled her over. Police said she was drunk and not cooperative; Bernardo was arrested for DUI and obstruction/resisting arrest for this incident.
