FOLSOM, CA - Regional Transit (RT) workers continued efforts to repair damaged Light Rail power lines Monday morning after an oak tree crashed down across the tracks in Folsom on Sunday.
The tree fell near the intersection of Blue Ravine and Folsom Blvd. during the early stages of Sunday's storm.
Shuttle buses were deployed by RT to provide service to and from the Historic Folsom, Glenn, Iron Point and Hazel Light Rail stations throughout the day.
Light Rail service was not interrupted on the Gold Line from the Sunrise Station to downtown Sacramento, and on the Blue Line.
RT was unable to provide an estimated time of service restoration.
Visit the RT website for service updates.
