MARYSVILLE, Calif. - A man is wanted in connection to two convenience store robberies in that happened within a half-an-hour of each other on Monday night.
The man is suspected of entering a 7-Eleven on the 500 block of E. 19th Street around 11 p.m., threatening the clerk with a semi-automatic pistol and then demanded money; the man then drove away from the scene in a silver or gray sedan, similar to a Honda Civic, Marysville Police Department spokesperson Christian Sachs said.
Around 11:30 p.m., the same suspect entered another 7-Eleven on the 400 block of 9th Street and demanded money while brandishing a semi-automatic pistol. Sachs said the man ran away from the store, running south on E Street.
The man is described as a Hispanic man, 5'4" tall, weighing 300 pounds; he was last seen wearing a black beanie cap, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white mechanic or baseball gloves. The suspect has a tattoo that looks like a spider under his right eye and has a smaller tattoo under his left eye.
