Emmanuela and Avenir Bukhantsov
SACRAMENTO, CA - The brother-in-law of a young Rancho Cordova mother was charged with her murder and those of two of her children in a Sacramento courtroom Friday.
Grigoriy Bukhantsov, 19, was arraigned on three counts of first degree murder and a special enhancement of commission of multiple murders in the Oct. 23, slayings.
The suspect lived with his brother Denis Bukhantsov and his wife 23-year-old Alina, and their children, 3-year-old Emmanuela, 2-year old Avenir and 6-month-old Mark on De Soto Way. Denis Bukhantsov came home that Tuesday afternoon to find his wife, Emmaneula and Avenir had been stabbed. The baby was unharmed.
The motive for the killings was unclear.
Grigoriy Bukhantsov did not enter a plea.
