SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento police detectives have an unexplained death they're investigating.
Dispatchers received a call at 4:43 p.m. from a woman who reported a dead body in her home on the 100 block of Emerald Creek Court, according to the police report. There was no preliminary information on how the person may have died. Officer Michele Gigante said investigators were unsure of the person's gender or if the individual lived at the residence.
One person was being questioned in connection with the case, said Gigante . Also, investigators were checking with residents in the area to find out if anyone saw, heard or knew something.
