Sacramento sisters operating underage prostitution ring sentenced

SACRAMENTO, CA - Two Sacramento sisters accused of helping run an underage prostitution ring have been sentenced to federal prison.

Tynisha Marie Hornbuckle, 24, received 15 years and eight months in prison and Tamrell Rena Hornbuckle, 26, received 12 years and seven months in prison after pleading to two counts each of sex trafficking of minors in May.

Two other Hornbuckle sisters, Latrelle Alicia Hornbuckle and Cherrelle Elizabeth Hornbuckle, their mother Rena Brown, and another woman, Jacqueline Lanoise Radisha Wade, have also pleaded guilty to charges in connection to using underage age girls for prostitution since 2008. They are awaiting sentencing.

According to the court record, two of the underage victims testified how they were beaten while working for the Hornbuckles. They were also tattooed with the name "Hornbuckle."

One of the victims also testified that Latrelle Hornbuckle told her in May 2011 the Hornbuckles were being investigated by the FBI and she should either lie or not testify if questioned.
