STOCTKON, CA - Two people were shot on the 2600 block of Warren Avenue in Stockton on Thursday morning.
Lieutenant Mike Reynoso of the Stockton Police Department said the shooting happened around 2:26 a.m.
One of the shot individuals, an unnamed 31-year-old man, was transported to hospital with critical injuries , said Reynoso.
The other gunshot victim, a 26-year-old individual on parole for attempted murder, was expected to survive his wounds, according to Det. Joe Silva of the Stockton Police Department.
Both men are documented gang members, Silva said.
No information was provided on motives or possible suspects in the shooting.
