Officer involved shooting on E. Milner St. in Stockton on 10/17/12
STOCKTON, CA - An individual is in hospital Wednesday morning after being shot by law enforcement officials serving a search warrant at a property on E. Milner Street in Stockton.
According to San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Moore, SWAT members and narcotics investigators were serving a narcotics search warrant at the property on the 3700 block of E. Milner Street around 6 a.m. When team members entered the residence, they encountered an individual armed with a shotgun. Officers opened fire, hitting the person at least once.
The person was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition as of 9:28 a.m.
No deputies were injured.
