Husband, wife duo arrested at illegal Wilton pot grow

WILTON, CA -  A husband, wife and a second man were arrested Monday morning after a Department of Justice (DOJ) helicopter discovered a marijuana growing operation while flying over a property in Wilton.

According to Michelle Gregory with the DOJ, agents raided the property on the 9700 block of La Clair Rd. after 7 a.m. and found 337 pot plants, as well as 200 to 300 pounds of processed marijuana. Agents also discovered a loaded rifle on the premises.

Ket and Janet Sanesanong, and Khamphanh Sanatphone were each arrested on charges of marijuana cultivation and possession of marijuana for sale, said Gregory.

The pot plants were all burned on site.
