SACRAMENTO - The Sacramento Kings had baseball on their mind after defeating the Phoenix Suns 102-96 Wednesday night in their preseason opener.
While reporters interviewed the Kings players in the locker room, the Oakland A's and Detroit Tigers game was being shown on the large plasma television.
Kings Forward Chuck Hayes who was born in the Bay Area and played high school basketball at Modesto Christian winced and cheered with every pitch and out while watching Game 4 of the American League Divisional Series.
