FAIRFIELD, CA - A man was found with serious injuries in the middle of the street early Saturday morning.
The 34-year-old Fairfield resident was found by a motorist around 2:15 a.m. on the 1200 block of Texas Street, in front of the Daily Republic Newspaper, Fairfield police Sgt. Randy Boggs said.
The man suffered major facial injuries and was transported to Northbay Medical Center in serious condition. Boggs said the man was later transported to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment.
Police are investigating if the man was a victim of a hit and run crash or an assault, Boggs said.
