WEEK 6: Game of the Week Preview: Folsom at Oak Ridge

EL DORADO HILLS, CA - This Friday, two rival towns, El Dorado Hills and Folsom, will face off for a much anticipated mid season battle.

The Oak Ridge Trojans will be hosting the (5-0) Folsom Bulldogs in a match showcasing two of the region's finest high school quarterbacks. The (5-0) Bulldogs have averaged 402 passing yards this season, while the (5-0) Trojans have averaged 192 so far. 

Folsom's sophomore, break-out quarterback, Jake Browning got national attention after his very impressive performance in week one. Browning's amazing stat-line included 689 yards and 10 touchdowns for the night. In total, Browning has racked up 2010 passing yards with 19 touchdowns going into week six. 

While Oak Ridge's senior quarterback, Jason Samuels has not made any ESPN headlines, his season has been certainly one to take note. Samuels has a total of 963 passing yards as well as 12 touchdowns.

During last year's matchup, Folsom ended up defeating Oak Ridge, 35-31 late into the season; however with all of this year's momentum added up, this game is sure to be a classic.
