MODESTO, CA - A man found stabbed to death in his west Modesto home Sunday has been identified.
Modesto police Lt. Rick Armendariz said the victim was 57-year-old Jorge Amador-Molina. He was discovered by new tenants moving into the home on the 100 block of Maple Street, Armendariz said.
The renters reported the shocking discovery to police at about 8:44 Sunday morning.
Homicide detectives don't know who killed Amador-Molina. Anyone with information about who is behind the stabbing was urged to call Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
