Sacramento police: Robber targeting ATM customers

SACRAMENTO, CA - A security camera image of a man suspected of robbing individuals as they withdrew funds from ATMs has been released by Sacramento police.

Sgt. Andrew Pettit said the victims were targeted on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at the Bank of America at 1830 Del Paso Boulevard at 8:55 p.m.and Wednesday, Aug. 8 at Wells Fargo at 1532 W. El Camino Avenue at 10 p.m.

The robber was armed in both cases, Pettit said. No one was hurt.

The robber was described as black, in his mid 20s, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He wore a black, hooded sweatshirt with a white emblem on the top of the hood.
