SACRAMENTO - Three people were arrested Wednesday night in connection with Tuesday night's fatal shooting at an apartment complex on Edison Ave. in Sacramento.
Sacramento County sheriff's deputy Jason Ramos said Gabriel McAllister, 30, Marcus Logan, 21, and Angel Tewksbury, 23 were booked into Sacramento County Main Jail late Wednesday on charges of murder and robbery.
The original incident occurred at the Somerset Apartments around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Deputies responded to a call of shots fired and found 25-year-old Timothy Schweiss laying in the street with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Schweiss was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.

According to Ramos, an investigation at the scene immediately following the shooting revealed that people allegedly connected with the incident had retreated into the apartment complex. In response, deputies set up a perimeter around the building and eventually located McAllister, Logan and Tewksbury within the complex.
The three were detained for questioning, during which time investigators, based on interviews and evidence gathered at the scene, determined McAllister, Logan and Tewksbury played a part in the shooting, said Ramos.
According to Ramos, the preliminary investigation indicated the shooting had come as a result of a marijuana deal gone bad.
