SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento robbery detectives think the same man has committed four robberies in the last two weeks and they're asking for help putting a name to him.
The first crime was July 31 at 12:33 a.m. when a man robbed a cab driver at gunpoint near the 1200 block of O Street, say police.
On Aug. 7 at 9:30 a.m., a man similarly described by witnesses held up a neighborhood market on the 1700 block of T Street. The man was described as white, in his 30s, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He left in a newer model, white 4-door Chevrolet.
The Royal Market on the 2500 block of Land Park was targeted twice on Monday, Aug. 13, by a man victims believed to be the same person, according to police.
The description of the robber in all four crimes was similar: a white man, 30-40 years old, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, 250 pounds, with light brown hair worn in a ponytail, and a goatee.
