STOCKTON, CA - Stockton police detectives investigate two homicides, the city's 41st and 42nd of the year, and a suspicious death Friday.
Officers were dispatched at 2:45 p.m. to a deadly shooting on South Stanislaus Street in south Stockton. The victim was described as an Hispanic man in his early 20s.
Investigators didn't yet know if shots were fired from a car or by someone on foot. They said the shooting may be gang-related.
Overnight, Donna Carr, 46, was shot as she was riding as a passenger in a car near Ponce De Leon Avenue.

According to police, a woman in her 50s was found decomposing in an apartment in a senior complex on Virtue Arc Drive in north Stockton. Investigators on the scene said the death was suspicious.
