SACRAMENTO, CA - An abandoned south Sacramento car dealership was destroyed in a fire Thursday night.
Sacramento City Fire crews responded an old Paul Blanco Chevy car lot on Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard around 9:15 p.m.
The fire started inside the building, spread into the attic and then to the roof.
Around 10:40 p.m., the roof collapsed. Fortunately, firefighters were pulled from inside of the building by that time.
Eight engines and six trucks responded to help control the fire.
Fire officials believe the cause of the fire is suspicious.
